It’s time for us to warm up to the reality - Our electronic waste needs to be recycled. Its not that we don’t care, its just that we need a constant reminder to this problem. Like any other habit, a sustainable lifestyle also needs to be cultivated with time.
This clock, made using discarded CD-Drives with virtually no alterations, reminds us with every tick, of the rising need to recycle and reduce our carbon footprint.
So let us all get wise - clockwise!

The most interesting factor of this product is nothing but its bloody simplicity that anyone could’ve thought of it. I’m sure… people must’ve!

I first made this product by accident way back in 2007 (or 2006?) when I was fiddling around with that junk CD drive that I got from a junk collector’s truck in IIT. And from that day, this piece just remained on my desk.

Well, it’s time. Soon you’ll be able to buy it online right from this site or from some design store… let me see. But there’s always a better option; you can make it yourself!!!
